Select Format
The data from your search can be delivered to you in a variety of formats.
Depending on your type of account and the database being searched,
several format options will be presented. Some common download formats are:
Owner Address Information
|
Contains the owner name, address, city, state, and zipcode.
Use this format to market to the owner of the property.
|
Property Address Information
|
Contains a generic addressee like 'Current Resident' that
is specified by you, along with the property address, city, state, and zipcode.
Use this format to market to the resident of the property.
|
Custom Format
|
Using this format, you can choose the fields to include in the download. This
is the most flexible download format, but it requires a bit more experience to
use effectively.

Format Owner Name
Depending on the type of download format selected, you may be asked how
the name associated with each row is to be displayed. The name
supplied by our many data sources is often not suitable for addressing mail.
Real-Comp has worked to improve this by allowing you to choose
the format of the name.
First Middle Last
|
Format the name in First Middle Last order.
For example, Doe John William & Mary would be formatted
as John William Doe. This formatting is best suited for
addressing letters and envelopes.
|
Last, First Middle
|
Format the name in Last, First Middle order.
For example, Doe John William & Mary would be formatted
as Doe, John William. This format is best suited for
programs that require the name in this format.
|
No Manipulation
|
Use the name exactly as it was provided to Real-Comp.

Enter Addressee
If you choose the Property Address Information format
you will be asked to enter a custom addressee to be included in each row
of the download. The resident of a property is often not known, so a generic
addressee serves as a greeting for mail sent to this address.
Example addressees are:
Current Resident
Valued Customer

you will be asked to select the fields to include
in the download. The fields will appear in the download in the
same order that they are added to the selected list.

Remove Duplicate Rows
Often, a search will return multiple records for a single individual. For example,
if you are searching property information, one person may own several properties.
You can choose to remove duplicate rows from the download to ensure that each
row is unique.
[top]
Row Count
The number of rows included in your download can be limited. For example,
if you would like to download 500 of the 1000 records found in the search,
enter 500 in the box provided.
The number entered is the maximum number to be downloaded.
You may receive less than this maximum if you chose to remove
duplicate rows and there are not enough rows left to satisfy the request.
